A reminder to our clients and other UAE business owners, the deadlines for the registration of taxable persons for corporate tax are fast approaching.

The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has recently announced the corporate tax registration deadlines for this year via the Federal Tax Authority Decision No. 3 of 2024 – Issued 26 February 2024 (Effective 1 March 2024) (the “Decision”)

Based on the FTA’s released timeline, an entity’s deadline for registration depends on its date of incorporation. Failing to meet the registration deadline attracts various administrative penalties, the extent of which depends on the breach and the reaching entity.

If you are not sure whether the Decision applies to you and your business or if you need assistance with your tax registration application or any other corporate or tax advice please feel free to contact Gerry Rogers, Corporate Partner, on, or Mohamed El Baghdady, Head of Tax and Financial Crimes, on
