Hossam diverse experience spans a wide array of disputes, including real estate, construction, and commercial matters, utilizing both arbitration and litigation. Hossam has established himself as a leading Counsel in high-stakes construction disputes and international arbitration. He excels in strategic case management, consistently achieving successful outcomes in complex multi-billion-dirham claims while effectively addressing critical challenges such as concurrent delay claims, variation claims, and employers’ rights to impose liquidated damages. His impressive 90% success rate in proceedings has resulted in a substantial 75% reduction in client liability.
In collaboration with the Arbitration Department, Hossam provides expert guidance on intricate cases governed by leading institutional arbitration rules, particularly under DIAC and ADCCAC, in both Arabic and English. He possesses significant experience in both UAE and international arbitration across multiple sectors.

- Co-counsel in a multi-billion dirham claim regarding a construction dispute at Dubai International Airport, terminal 3. Claims were in excess of AED 3bn.
- Instructed on a well-known case involving a racecourse in the Emirate of Dubai against a government entity regarding a claim for unpaid payment certificates in the amount of AED 2.4bn.
- Representing a JV in a massive construction dispute valued AED 1.6bn, in relation to the fire that engulfed The Address Downtown Dubai hotel on New Year’s Eve 2016.
- Advising client regarding a construction dispute with a value of more than AED 100M related to Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi Hotel.
