About Omar
Omar Kawis is a Paralegal at Habib Al Mulla & Partners and a member of the Real Estate team, where he supports contentious and advisory matters across a wide range of property-related disputes. In addition to his core role in real estate, he regularly assists the Banking & Finance Litigation and Commercial Litigation teams, as well as other departments across the firm, reflecting his broad exposure to complex, multi-disciplinary matters.
He holds an LLB from the University of Bristol and is currently pursuing qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). Omar graduated with honours and authored his undergraduate dissertation on post-Brexit EU citizen rights, demonstrating a strong interest in cross-border legal frameworks and regulatory developments. His academic background includes Banking Law, Corporate Law, and Commercial Litigation.
In his role at Habib Al Mulla & Partners, Omar is involved in legal research, drafting pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence, and supporting senior lawyers on high-value and technically complex disputes before UAE courts. He works within both local and international legal frameworks and frequently collaborates with teams across practice areas to support matters that span multiple legal disciplines.
Prior to joining the firm, Omar gained practical legal experience in Amman, Jordan, where he was exposed to court proceedings, legal due diligence, and cross-departmental legal work. Fluent in Arabic and English, and technically proficient, Omar is recognised for his precision, strong drafting skills, and reliability. He is committed to continuous professional development and brings a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to his work.
