About Zein
Zein Abu Shattal is a qualified lawyer admitted to the Jordan Bar Association, with a strong legal foundation and experience, supporting complex litigation matters across the UAE. She has worked on high-value commercial, civil, shareholder and labour disputes, including multijurisdictional matters before the onshore courts. Prior to joining our firm, Zein worked with DLA Piper Middle East LLP in Dubai, and Aljazy & Co. Advocates and Legal Consultants in Amman. Zein obtained her LLB from University of Kent.

- Advised the client in the pursuit of unpaid invoices in multiple commercial claims, by arranging for the executionary procedures to procure the outstanding dues for the client in an effective and efficient manner by placing attachments over various monies including but not limited to: vehicles, trade license, shares, bank accounts just to name a few.
- Represented the client that operates in the construction industry before the onshore UAE courts in various labour claims.
- Researched and drafted summary notes on UAE civil procedure law on debt recovery, the UAE criminal code for defamation claims and breach of confidentiality, importing and exporting products in the Middle East and validity of offshore employees’ work permits.
- Drafted Power of Attorney letters to enable clients to be represented within the UAE onshore and offshore courts. Provided support to clients seeking notarization and legalization of foreign documents requested by local authorities.
- Made inquiries with government authorities in relation to requirements for employees working remotely with a free zone entity i.e. Dubai Development Authority.
