About the Role

Our Corporate Team is seeking an experienced Paralegal to provide support across a broad range of corporate and transactional matters.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Partners and Associates on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and general corporate advisory work.
  • Assist with preparation, review, and management of transaction documentation, including share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements, and ancillary transaction documents.
  • Support with legal, regulatory, and corporate due diligence exercises, including the review of corporate records, preparation of due diligence reports.
  • Conduct legal and commercial research on UAE corporate laws, regulations, and market developments.
  • Coordinate and manage company incorporations, amendments, restructuring projects, and ongoing corporate governance requirements including UAE mainland and freezones.
  • Maintain accurate corporate records, statutory registers, and transaction-related documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft professional correspondence, reports, memoranda, and client communications, and other corporate documents to a high standard and within required deadlines.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, monitoring key deadlines and supporting the efficient progression of transactions from inception through to completion.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities required by the team.

 

Qualification & Experience

  • 1-2 year’s Paralegal experience
  • UAE work experience is required with a strong understanding of the region
  • The candidate must have experience working within Private Practice
  • Prior experience working within the corporate practice is preferrable but not required
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is advantageous but not essential
