About the Role

Our Banking & Financial Disputes Team is seeking an experienced and proactive Paralegal to support Partners and Associates across a broad range of banking and finance, dispute resolution matters.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Partners and Associates on a broad range of banking and financial disputes.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, court submissions, witness statements, legal notices, and other dispute-related documentation.
  • Maintain and organise case files, monitor court and procedural deadlines, track hearings, and ensure matters progress efficiently and in compliance with applicable procedural requirements.
  • Conduct legal research to gather and analyse facts, legislation, regulations, case law, and other information relevant to ongoing cases and client matters.
  • Review, analyse, and organise large volumes of documentation for litigation, arbitration, investigations, and due diligence exercises.
  • Attend meetings with clients, prepare attendance notes, assist with case updates, and support day-to-day client communications.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities reasonably required by the team.
  • Assist with diary management, billing coordination, matter opening procedures, document management, and other administrative requirements of the team.

 

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Paralegal, preferably within a disputes or litigation practice.
  • UAE legal experience is essential, with a strong understanding of the local legal and regulatory landscape.
  • Previous exposure to Banking & Financial Services disputes is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Civil law qualified.
