Alia Al Mulla is a Partner at Habib Al Mulla & Partners and serves as the Head of Commercial Disputes. She holds the Family Business Advising (CFBA, 2025) and Family Wealth Advising (CFWA, 2025) certifications from the Family Firm Institute (FFI), equipping her with specialized expertise in advising family-owned enterprises on governance, restructuring, and succession planning.

Alia was part of the legal team that successfully registered the first family company in the Emirate of Dubai under the UAE’s new Family Companies Law. As a UAE-qualified advocate, she holds full rights of audience before all local and federal courts across the United Arab Emirates and regularly represents clients in complex commercial and shareholder disputes, with a particular focus on family enterprises and wealth preservation.

She also represents multinational corporations and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, providing tailored strategies to navigate intricate legal landscapes effectively.
