Dubai, UAE – Habib Al Mulla and Partners, one of the UAE’s leading law firms, has appointed Areen Jayousi as Senior Partner in its Dispute Resolution practice, further strengthening the firm’s leadership in high-stakes litigation, arbitration, insolvency, and financial crime capabilities.
The appointment reinforces the firm’s ability to support clients facing disputes involving significant financial, regulatory, and reputational exposure, particularly across the real estate, construction, and financial services sectors.
Areen brings over 18 years of experience advising on complex commercial disputes across the UAE, with particular strength in UAE onshore litigation and deep expertise in offshore jurisdictions including DIFC and ADGM. A qualified Solicitor of England and Wales, he is recognised for his ability to bridge civil law and common law systems in multi-jurisdictional disputes. He regularly acts in major international arbitrations under DIAC, ICC, SCCA, IICRA, and ArbitrateAD rules, both as counsel and as arbitrator.
Areen’s practice covers real estate and construction disputes, banking and insolvency matters, and financial crime litigation. He has been consistently ranked Band 1 by Chambers and Partners and recognised as a Recommended Lawyer by The Legal 500.
